Dr. Jeff Temple sustains peremptory examination
 Dr. Jeff Temple sustained his peremptory examination in Classis Ontario West and classis approbated the call extended to him by Providence Canadian Reformed Church (Hamilton). 

The ordination and installation of Dr. Temple will take place October 6, 2019 (D.V.) in the morning worship service (9:30 a.m.). Due to space limitations at the Providence Church building, the ordination service will take place in the Ancaster Canadian Reformed Church building (575 Shaver Road, Ancaster, ON).

CRTS 50th Anniversary Celebration

The Lord willing, we will be celebrating the fiftieth anniversary of the Canadian Reformed Theological Seminary this coming weekend. The festivities begin with a special anniversary convocation on Friday, September 6 beginning at 8pm in the Redeemer University College auditorium.

If you cannot join us in person, we will be livestreaming the convocation. Check out for the link to the livestream.

We will continue to reflect on God’s faithfulness on Saturday, September 7 from 10am to 2pm with an open house at the seminary building (110 West 27th Street Hamilton). Drop in for a few minutes or stay the whole time! You’ll be able to experience, in a very user-friendly way, what it is like to be a seminary student. Please see here for more details, including some logistical matters.

**Please take note that the Eastbound Lincoln Alexander Parkway will be closed from 9:30 pm Friday evening through Sunday. Access between Hwy 403 and the Mohawk Road exit will be maintained. Please plan your route accordingly.**

Rev. John Ludwig has accepted the call to serve as Minister of the Word at the Neerlandia Canadian Reformed Church South, and has subsequently declined the call to the Dovedale Reformed Church of New Zealand.
Candidate Mark ten Haaf accepts call to Providence (Edmonton)
Candidate Mark ten Haaf has accepted the call to serve as Minister of the Word at Providence Canadian Reformed Church in Edmonton, and has declined the calls to the American Reformed Church in Nooksack Valley, Trinity Canadian Reformed Church in Glanbrook, and the call from the Free Reformed Church in Armadale to serve as Missionary in Lae, Papua New Guinea.

New location and worship service times for Nooksack Valley

On Sunday, August 4, and following, the congregation of the American Reformed Church at Nooksack Valley will be using the Sumas Christian Reformed Church building for worship, with services scheduled at 8:45 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. respectively.  This building is located at 700 Sumas Avenue, Sumas, Washington.
Candidate Eric Onderwater accepts call to Brampton (Grace)
Candidate Eric Onderwater has accepted the call to the Grace Canadian Reformed Church in Brampton, Ontario to serve as minister of the word with a focus on mission. He subsequently declines the calls to the Redeeming Grace United Reformed Church of Brantford, Ontario, the Adoration United Reformed Church of Vineland, Ontario and the Fellowship Canadian Reformed Church in Burlington, Ontario.

URCNA candidate Nathan Zekveld has declined the call to work as a missionary in London with the Pilgrim Canadian Reformed Church and has accepted the call to serve as a pastor in the United Reformed Church of Prince Edward Island.
Orangeville change of worship location and times

Starting on August 4, 2019, the church at Orangeville will be worshiping at 50 Blind Line, Orangeville (Christian Reformed Church building) while our building is undergoing renovation. Worship services are scheduled for 8 AM and 1 PM.
New church in Sardis

With thankfulness to the Lord, we celebrate the institution of a new Canadian Reformed Church at Sardis, BC. Worship services are held at 2 pm and 5:30 pm each Sunday at the Sardis Community Church, 45625 South Sumas Road, Chilliwack, BC.
