Institution of the Grimsby Canadian Reformed Church in Ontario

With thankfulness to the Lord, the institution of the Grimsby Canadian Reformed Church will take place, D.V., on September 12, 2021, at 4:00 p.m. This service will be held in the Covenant Canadian Reformed Church, 480 Woolverton Road, Grimsby, ON, and will include the official installation of seven elders and three deacons to form the new Council.  The Lord willing, Rev. R. J. den Hollander will officiate.  

The church has reached an agreement with the St. John’s Presbyterian Church (10 Mountain Street, Grimsby, ON), to share their church building. Services will start at this location on September 19th, 2021.

Rehoboth call to Rev. Victor Atallah and acceptance
Rehoboth Canadian Reformed Church of Burlington-Waterdown has called Rev. Victor Atallah of Kruiskerk Gereformeerde Kerk vrijgemaakt Meppel as Minister of the Word set aside for mission work with Middle East Reformed Fellowship International.  Rev. Atallah has accepted the call.  Classis Central Ontario June 11, 2021 has subsequently approbated the call.  If no lawful objections are brought forward, Rev. Victor and Mrs. Lisa Atallah will be accepted into membership at Rehoboth Church as of July 1, 2021 with installation to be announced for a later date this year when international travel opens up.
