Edmonton Mission Board seeking Community Outreach Worker

The Edmonton Mission Board, based out of Immanuel Canadian Reformed Church, is looking for an individual to lead the work of Christian outreach within the City of Edmonton, Alberta, by bringing the gospel of Jesus Christ and serving others in our city in Christian love. Candidates should have a strong grounding in the Christian faith and be a member of a Canadian Reformed Church or sister church. They should have the ability to think creatively, work independently, and engage people of all ages and backgrounds. Post-secondary education in theological studies, especially related to missiology, is preferred. Ordination and installation of Candidate ten Haaf will take place, D.V., on November 3 at the Providence Canadian Reformed Church in the morning worship service (10:00 a.m.).

Candidate Eric Onderwater sustained his peremptory examination in Classis Northern Ontario and classes approbated the call extended to him by Grace Canadian Reformed Church at Brampton.

The ordination and installation of Candidate Onderwater has been moved to Friday evening, November 1 at 8 pm.  Candidate Onderwater will deliver his inaugural sermon on Sunday morning, November 3 at 10 am.  Services will be held in Grace church (10301 Creditview Rd., Brampton - corner of Creditview and Fairhill Ave).

Change of Worship Location for Hamilton (Providence) and Ancaster
The ordination and installation of Dr. Jeff Temple will take place October 6, 2019 (D.V.) in the morning worship service at 9:30 a.m. Dr. Temple will deliver his inaugural sermon in the afternoon service beginning at 3:30 p.m.  Due to space limitations at the Providence Church building, both services will take place in the Ancaster Canadian Reformed Church building (575 Shaver Road, Ancaster, ON). As a result, Ancaster Canadian Reformed Church will be holding its services at the Providence church building (582 Southcote Road, Ancaster, ON) at 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
