Appointment to be Accepted, Doctorate Received: Dr. Ted Van Raalte

On Tuesday May 14, Rev. Ted Van Raalte successfully defended his dissertation, "Antoine De Chandieu (1534-1591): L'un des pères de la scholastique réformée?" (Antoine De Chandieu: One of the Fathers of Reformed Scholasticism?). He was consequently granted the degree of Ph.D. by Calvin Theological Seminary. On Wednesday May 15, Dr. Van Raalte officially declared to Synod that he would accept an appointment by the Board of Governors as Professor of Ecclesiology at Canadian Reformed Theological Seminary.
