On behalf of Fellowship, the convening church, Rev. Hilmer Jagersma welcomed the
delegates, read 2 Timothy 4:1-5 and opened in prayer. Delegates from Fellowship and
Ebenezer were present. The credentials were found to be good order, and Classis
Contracta was declared constituted. Rev. Hilmer Jagersma was appointed as Chair and
Rev. Tony Roukema as Clerk. The agenda was adopted; the only matter on the agenda was
the approbation of the call from Blessings Christian Church to Rev. Bryn McPhail. It was
confirmed that all the required documents had been submitted. The call could not be
approbated based on the documents as provided by Blessings. Classis was adjourned so
that Blessings could amend the relevant document. Classis reconvened on Tuesday,
November 25, 2025. The amended document as well as the other relevant documents were
found to be in good order and Classis approbated the call extended by Blessings Christian
Church to Rev. Bryn McPhail. Mercy Christian Church is delegated to represent Classis
Central Ontario at the installation service planned for Sunday, November 30, 2025. The
Acts and the Press Release were adopted. Rev. Tony Roukema led in prayer and Classis
was adjourned.
