Late Saturday night, after a prolonged period of declining health our brother, colleague and dear friend, Chris Bosch was promoted to glory.
Chris was ordained as Minister of the Word in Smithville in 1985. Prior to this, he had been a school teacher at West Edmonton Christian.
Chris entered the ministry later than most; he was 43 years old. That makes him the third-oldest CanRC pastor at ordination.
In 1989, he took a call to Kelmscott, Australia, where he served for 5 years. In 1994, he returned to Canada to pastor Fellowship Church in Burlington for 9 years.
He needed to take early retirement in 2003, after having a brain tumor removed.
Chris continued to preach often in vacant churches. He loved preaching the good news; we will remember his passionate call to faith!
For the past 31 years Chris and his beloved Rita have been living examples for their brothers and sisters in Fellowship Church of how God's grace is actively worked out in the lives of God's people.
On Saturday night Chris heard his Saviour say, "Well done, good and faithful servant. Enter into the joy of your master." (Matt 25:23)
