The meeting was opened by the convening church in a Christian manner. Various matters of memorabilia were mentioned in prayer. After the credentials were found to be in good order, classis was constituted, the executive appointed, and the agenda adopted.
A church visitation report was received with thankfulness. Question period according to CO article 44 was held. All the churches affirmed that the ministry of the office bearers is being continued and that the decisions of the major assemblies are being honoured. Advice was given to one church regarding proper church government.
A proposal was adopted to change the Classis regulations regarding the invitation of fraternal delegates and observers. A letter was dealt with in closed session.
Guelph Living Word was appointed to convene the next classis meeting (suggested date: June 18, 2025; alternate date: Sept 17, 2025).
After personal question period was made use of, the chairman judged that Christian censure was not necessary. The Acts and Press Release were read and approved. The meeting was closed in a Christian manner.
