On behalf of Ebenezer, the convening church, Rev. Tony Roukema welcomed the delegates and then read Psalm 122, gave a short meditation, and then opened in prayer. Delegates from Mercy, Fellowship and Ebenezer were present. The credentials were found to be good order and classis contracta was declared constituted. Rev. Tony Roukema was appointed as chair and br. David Kampen as vice-chairman. The agenda was adopted and the only maHer on the agenda was the approbation of the call from Jubilee Church, Ottawa to Rev. Darren Feenstra. It was confirmed that all the required documents were in order and the call was approbated. Mercy church is delegated to represent Classis Central Ontario at the installation service planned for September 17, 2023. Bethel church appointed as alternate. The Acts and the press release were adopted via email. Br. Dave Kampen led in prayer and Classis was closed.
