The Lord, at his time, took to himself our dear husband, father and grandfather, Johannes Mulder, on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at the age of 88. Beloved husband of Elizabeth "Lies" for almost 62 years. Dear father of Carl, and Paul (Alinda). Loving grandfather of Janessa, Kendall, Daniel, and Julianne, and great-grandfather of DJ. He will also be missed by his sister Ge van Benthem, and brother-in-law and sister-in-law Hans and Corrie Sollie, all in the Netherlands. Rev. Mulder was ordained as a minister of the Word in 1955 and faithfully, under God's blessing, served churches in Gees, the Netherlands, Carman, MB, Coaldale, AB, Cloverdale, BC, Toronto, ON and Burlington-Waterdown, ON. Visitation at EBENEZER CANADIAN REFORMED CHURCH, 607 Dynes Rd, Burlington on Monday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at REHOBOTH CANADIAN REFORMED CHURCH, 1225 Dundas St, Burlington, on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at 11 a.m. Rev. G. Ph. van Popta officiating. Interment at Garden Lane Cemetery, Flamborough. Reception to follow at Ebenezer Canadian Reformed Church. In lieu of flowers, donations made to Shalom Manor would be appreciated by the family.
